Thanksgiving specials at Café Cortez – Thursday, Nov. 27
El Cortez Hotel & Casino offers a delicious Thanksgiving feast with dining specials at Café Cortez on Thursday, Nov. 27. Guests can indulge in the traditional Thanksgiving menu for just $12.95. The three-course meal includes choice of a tossed green salad with choice of dressing or roasted butternut squash soup, followed by choice of fresh roasted tom turkey with all the fixings or baked Virginia ham with sweet potatoes and green beans amandine. For dessert, diners can chose between fresh baked pumpkin or apple pie. The menu is available from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Fresh Stone Crab continues throughout November at Café Cortez
Café Cortez welcomes the weekly return of the ever-popular fresh jumbo stone crab dinner special on Fridays throughout November. Stone crab is flown in fresh from Florida every week for the dinner special.

El Cortez Hotel & Casino is serving free White Castle cheeseburgers to celebrate Veteran’s Day on Tuesday, Nov. 11. Club Cortez members can enjoy free While Castle cheeseburgers while they play slots and table games. The complimentary burgers will be served from noon to 6 p.m. White Castle is famous for their one-of-a-kind Slyder ®, which offers a delicious hamburger patty with White Castle’s signature steamed onions and cheese.
Free slices of Marie Callender’s Pumpkin Pie for Club Cortez players – Saturday, Nov. 22
El Cortez Hotel & Casino is serving free slices of Marie Callender’s pumpkin pie on Saturday, Nov. 22. Club Cortez members can enjoy the slices of pie while they play slots and table games, served from noon to 6 p.m.
The Wineyard – Every Friday on Jackie Gaughan Parkway
The El Cortez Hotel & Casino continues its Friday night gathering at The Wineyard, a new entertainment option for guests, throughout November. Combining music, wine and a laidback atmosphere, The Wineyard will charm guests in a quaint outdoor setting directly across from the El Cortez Hotel & Casino on Jackie Gaughan Parkway. Live music, wines by the glass or bottle, craft beers and an array of meats and cheeses served a la carte will be available for purchase. The Wineyard welcomes guest every Friday and runs from 5 p.m. to midnight.
Throwback Thursday at El Cortez
Kick start your weekend with a night devoted to all the things that make El Cortez downtown’s favorite hangout. Club Cortez members can enjoy complimentary White Castle cheeseburgers every Thursday from noon to 6 p.m., while they play slots and table games on the casino floor. Taking it back to the simple Vegas fun that built El Cortez, guests can sip $5 French champagne in the Parlour Bar while listening to the sweet serenade of Frank Sinatra tribute sensation Peter Pavone who takes the stage from 6 to 10 p.m. Following his performance, adventurous guests can grab the microphone and perform their favorite tunes during karaoke from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Football viewing parties inside The Parlour
The Parlour inside El Cortez Hotel & Casino will host football viewing parties every Monday. Fans can watch all the action while enjoying $20 buckets of beer (six bottles), food specials and exciting giveaways.

Peter Pavone hits The Parlour Bar stage performing as Frank Sinatra every Thursday, Friday and Saturday with two nightly shows at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.

Cash is King Drawings 2014
The next Cash is King drawing will be held on Saturday, Oct. 18 at 3 p.m. Club members will receive one entry ticket for the $25,000 cash giveaway for every 5,000 points that are earned. Players must be present at the drawing on Oct. 18 to win. Directly following the drawing on Oct. 18, players will begin earning points for the next period of the Cash is King drawing.
